You can also call the Associate Experience Center (AEC) at <strong>888-255-2269<\/strong> to request the contact information for your CLT Administrator.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-reading-box-container reading-box-container-1\" style=\"--awb-title-color:#0c5497;--awb-margin-top:10px;--awb-margin-bottom:10px;\"><div class=\"reading-box\" style=\"background-color:#dddddd;border-width:1px;border-color:#f6f6f6;border-style:solid;\"><div class=\"reading-box-additional\">\n<h2><strong>Roles and Responsibilities During Your Leave<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><br \/>\nYou<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are on a medical leave for yourself of pregnancy\/childbirth leave, file a claim for short-term disability with The Hartford through\u00a0 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/abilityadvantage.thehartford.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hartford online claim portal<\/a><\/strong>, or call The Hartford at <strong>855-532-7881<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you are a union associate and you are not on Company-provided health and welfare benefits, contact your union trust for information on your responsibilities while on leave.<\/li>\n<li>Apply for state disability and\/or paid family\/medical leave programs if you meet the eligibility requirements in the state where you work. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/drophills.com\/testmyaci\/time-off\/loa-landing\/types-of-leave\/\">Learn about the states that offer various programs<\/a><\/strong>. If you work in Hawaii, New Jersey or New York, you will apply for state benefits through The Hartford.<\/li>\n<li>Send required documents as requested to the Centralized Leave Team (CLT). Send required documents as requested by The Hartford via <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/abilityadvantage.thehartford.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hartford online claim portal<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Pay for your Albertsons health and welfare benefits through paycheck deductions while you are receiving pay from Albertsons or by paying monthly invoices from HealthEquity during any unpaid portion of your leave.<\/li>\n<li>If you are on a pregnancy\/childbirth leave or bonding, adoption and foster care leave, add your new child to your Albertsons benefits coverage and provide <strong><a href=\"\/\/myaci-benefits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/dep-verification-flyer-03-2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">supporting documentation<\/a><\/strong> confirming their eligibility for coverage as your dependent child. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/drophills.com\/testmyaci\/benefits-basics\/eligibility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Follow the instructions here to submit your supporting documentation in myACI Benefits<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Albertsons Centralized Leave Team (CLT) Administrator<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Tracks eligibility for job-protected leaves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>The Hartford<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If your claim for short-term disability is approved, coordinates weekly short-term disability payments through Albertsons Payroll Department.<\/li>\n<li>The Hartford also coordinates any state temporary disability insurance (TDI) benefits if your claim for state TDI benefits is approved if you work in Hawaii, New Jersey or New York.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Albertsons Payroll Department<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Processes your weekly paycheck while you are receiving payments through The Hartford and\/or available sick pay, vacation PTO, FTO or personal days\/floating holidays.<\/li>\n<li>Processes regular weekly benefit deductions as long as you are receiving a paycheck through Albertsons during your leave.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>HealthEquity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>During any unpaid portion of your leave, HealthEquity will send you a letter with instructions on how to pay for your Albertsons health and welfare benefits on a monthly basis through HealthEquity until the end of your leave or until your benefits end at 26 or 52 weeks (whichever comes first).<\/li>\n<li>Informs Albertsons if you make monthly benefits payments to maintain your benefits eligibility.<\/li>\n<li>Informs Albertsons if you miss your monthly benefits payment following a specified grace period to cancel your benefits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\" style=\"--awb-margin-right:20px;--awb-margin-left:20px;\"><h2 data-fusion-font=\"true\"><strong>Resources<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Review the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lexmondcommunications.com\/albertsons-2024\/leave-process4\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leave of Absence Process interactive diagram<\/a><\/strong> for an overview of how a leave of absence works.<\/li>\n<li>Check out a medical leave of absence timeline example for the state in which you work.
